An early draft of our 2025 Legislative Guide is now available online.  Here's how you can use this guide:

• Learn more about the US Congress and the six people representing Iowans in Washington DC.
• Learn more about the state legislative process and the 150 people representing Iowans at the State Capitol.
• Find out how to contact your elected officials.
• See who has been assigned to committees in the State Legislature.
• Understand how a bill becomes a law.

Who Represents You? Your Guide to the US Congress and Iowa Legislature is updated every two years.  We are still waiting on US House of Representatives' committee assignments and the January 28 special election to replace former Senator Chris Cournoyer (now Lt. Governor Cournoyer) in Senate District 35.  Once the special election has been held, we will finalize this guide and mail it to our advocate network.

Members of the Iowa DD Council advocacy network receive this Guide in the mail free of charge.  If you are not yet a member of our network, you can join before January 30 to receive this free guide.
